I earned a 2 year degree in watchmaking & repair from Bowmwn Technical School in 1984 which was located in Lancaster, Pa. Upon graduation I secured a position at Omega Watch Corporation located in New York City. The Omega Company later merged with the Swiss Watch Technical Center (Swatch Group) located in Lancaster, Pa.

 

At the time, S.W.T.C. was the mother company with Hamilton, Omega, Rado, Certina, Swatch, and Rolex under one roof. The company was located in the Hamilton engineering building located behind the original Hamilton Watch Factory. I have experience with all the above mentioned brands of watches and have worked on all of them. I have a strong background on chronograph wristwatches.

 

January 1, 1990, I decided to strike out on my own and start, R.A. Time Capsule, Quality Watch & Clock Repair. We are celebrating our 32th year in business. We just got done renovating my 18th. century barn into the new R.A. Time Capsule located right outside Montoursville, Pa, my home town!  I take pride in all my repairs treating each piece as if it was my own!
